What can I tell you about Mrnorth? Well, let me say that the band itself is a bit of a mystery. Which is fine...I enjoy a good mystery! What can I tell you about their music? Spellbinding! The writing ability of Colin Smith and Oisin O'Malley is to say the least above and beyond most anything you will find in any music store today.

From the beginning of their CD "Fear and Desire" you are pulled into this story. It's dark and it's gut wrenching, and anyone who has ever been in a relationship will feel all those emotions come creeping back in....but its also beautiful and hypnotic and much like that relationship, you must stay till the end.

The musical talents of this band are mesmerizing and the vocal talent of Colin Smith tells me there are great things ahead for this New York based band.
