What Musical Genre Do You Feel Best Describes Your Music And How Would You Describe Your Sound?

Our genre is Christian and our music is inspirational with a down home southern feel. We are focused on the heart of a universal message that can uplift the human spirit. We want to inspire people to live their best life realizing who gives life abundantly to us all.

How Did You Get Your Name? Is There A Story?

Our name comes from 2 guys who have been musical friends since the late 80's who drive and determination hasn't ceased since we started. We have done things with other local artist who didn't have the same vision so we decided after 20 years apart, to come back together and just the 2 of us continue working on our dream of reaching the world with our musical message.

What Are or Have been Your Musical Influences?

We were heavily influenced by Commissioned, The Might Clouds of Joy, Charles Johnson, The Williams Brothers, James Taylor, Carmen, Larnelle Harris and many others.

What Are You Working On Now? Any Future Collaborations We Can Look Forward To?

We are currently working on a full length project to be released the early part of next year.

What Is Your Ultimate Goal In The Music Industry? What Is Your Plan Of Action?

Our ultimate goal is the make music that really reaches the world with a message of God's love and his attention to the every detail of our spiritual walk as we live the abundant life he gave us. Our message is to unify rather than divide, to find the common thread we all share apart from any doctrine differences. Our plan of action is to use EVERY tool available to reach as many people as possible before we drop the mic.

What Is Your Favorite Track To Perform Live and Why?

Going to Church is our favorite track right now because the message is simple and the groove is so real that once you hear it you can't get it out of your head.

What Has Been The Biggest Challenge In Your Career Thus far?

The biggest challenge has been getting enough of the right exposure. Marketing is a huge piece for us and even though there are a few outlets it's difficult to hone in on your primary audience when you are trying to break into the market for the first time.

What’s Your Typical Songwriting Process?

Total inspiration, an idea will come sometimes a phrase and sometimes just a thought and it's like the music chimes in and all the parts seem to come together. If the song moves me I know it will move someone else. I don't have a formula it's totally inspiration from the LORD.

How Has Social Media Influenced Your Career As An Artist?

We are fairly new to social media so we have inquired a lot of help from people who know and understand the medium but the influence has been seen especially with our youtube video we have over 30,000 views in less than 2 months.

I listen to ALL genres and ALL types of music and right now my playlist has James Taylor, The Williams Brothers, Jonathan Butler, The Pilgrim Jubilee Singers, The Staple Singers and Michael McDonald.

What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?

I Made music. I've been a musician since 8 years old.

Any Advice For Young People (Men or Women) That Want To Succeed In The Music World?

I'll let you know when we succeed. It's a very constant and focused grind.

What Would You Change In The Music Industry If You Were A Top Music Executive?

The process it takes to bring in new artist. There are many artist out there that are really gifted and talented but don't have the opportunity to be heard or appreciated for what they do. Everyone's gift should have a platform so I would create a platform for the undiscovered artists to have opportunity to show their gifts to the world.

How Do You Feel About Originality?

It's very key for me because that is what sets us all apart. We all have our own originality that no one can take away.

Is There Anything Else We Should Know About You Or That You Would Like to Add?

We are very determined to do this at the highest level but we need that break to get our music exposed so the world can hear it.
