Kevin Reid Conrad dba "Jenovah Heights", is a recording artist in Twin Falls Idaho. He started playing on a plastic guitar his parents bought him when he was just a young boy.

His love for music has stayed with him, writing and producing over 40 songs on four albums Kevin hopes to continue bringing his creativity to life through his music.

What Musical Genre Do You Feel Best Describes Your Music And How Would You Describe Your Sound?

My music has been mostly in the Christian Rock genre, but I do have some secular songs and also I recently made an album of electronic rock songs which I had a lot of fun doing. My sound I think is geared more towards 80's Rock.

How Did You Get Your Name? Is There A Story?

Kevin Reid Conrad is my birth name, but when I first started seriously recording music I thought maybe I would need a Band name, so I started searching and pondering and finally chose the name Jenovah Heights. Turns out the definition of Jenovah has a really cool meaning.

What Are or Have Been Your Musical Influences?

I mostly loved the Rock musicians like Van Halen because of the awesome guitar playing and Def leopard, Joe Satriani. Just about any of the Classic Rock bands. But believe it or not I started out with the Old Time Fiddlers HaHa.

What Are You Working On Now? Any Future Collaborations We Can Look Forward To?

I have been putting together some songs for an E.P, No collaborations going on right at the moment.

What Is Your Ultimate Goal In The Music Industry? What Is Your Plan Of Action?

I don't really think in terms of a goal, I just love what I do and want to continue to share my creations. My plans are to continue getting better at playing my instruments and vocals, and making great mixes:)

What Is Your Favorite Track To Perform Live and Why?

I play every week for a worship team, but haven't played my own music in live settings because my music is recorded one track at a time and I do all the instruments myself, to date I have been mostly a recording artist.

What Has Been The Biggest Challenge In Your Career Thus Far?

I think the biggest challenge for me so far has been getting my songs out there where people can hear what I do. I am not much on advertising or promoting, but I am working on it.

What’s Your Typical Songwriting Process?

Most of the time I just pick up my Guitar and start putting together some cool chords, I do also get on my Piano a come up with an attractive melody and it seem that the vocal melody just flows from my soul. Then I just repeat the same process through the Verse Chorus and Bridge until I am happy with the song.

How Has Social Media Influenced Your Career As An Artist?

Well like I said I am not very good at promoting, so I have had minimal exposure on it.

What Are Some Tracks and Artists Currently On Your Playlist?

Ya know I don't really have a playlist I just listen to anything that is new and attractive and occasionally some classics.

What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?

Most of my time before music I have worked as a Sculptor doing a lot of Art manufacturing and I do still like to create a nice sculpture every now and then, It is another talent that God has blessed me with.

Any Advice For Young People (Men or Women) That Want To Succeed In The Music World?

There is really only one way to succeed at anything, and that is to work hard at what you are trying to accomplish and don't stop until you get where you are happy with what you are doing.

What Would You Change In The Music Industry If You Were A Top Music Executive?

Not sure about that one, I haven't worked with any top executives yet.

How Do You Feel About Originality?

Personally I feel I am very originally orientated. I create my music from my heart and try to bring something new each time I create a project.

Is There Anything Else We Should Know About You Or That You Would Like to Add?

I just hope that my music and my small story will help someone to be encouraged to be what they were made for.
