Lori Nebo was born and raised in California. She started singing in church, gospel choirs, in colleges and later on began singing as a lead singer fronting many bands in California. Lori began performing in an all-girl group

band called Girls In The Mix and afterward decided to become a solo artist. She moved to New York City where she started working with New York producer and engineer Steve Sola, who she met on soundcloud. They began recording new songs bringing in instrumentals from DJ Slidin Da' Versatile, a Jamaican born composer, beatmaker and DJ.
