Lori Nebo was born and raised in California. She started singing in church, gospel choirs, in colleges and later on began singing as a lead singer fronting many bands in California. Lori began performing in an all-girl group
band called Girls In The Mix and afterward decided to become a solo artist. She moved to New York City where she started working with New York producer and engineer Steve Sola, who she met on soundcloud. They began recording new songs bringing in instrumentals from DJ Slidin Da' Versatile, a Jamaican born composer, beatmaker and DJ.
She continues on her journey as a recording artist, singer, and songwriter, as well as a DJ/karaoke host. Nebo is graduating with her Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership the summer 2018 from CSU Global University. You will find her in New Jersey, and in many NYC venues and concert events; as a sound engineer, as a female DJ, host, singer and musical director getting people up encouraging them to perform a song.

Greatly without it, I would not have connected with the producers to create more music, I would be even more invisible as an unknown artist.

What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?
I am still a DJ and karaoke host for various clubs in NYC and in New Jersey, before that I worked as a nursing attendant for many years with the elderly. Before that, I worked and had my own business as a manicurist and also cleaned houses.
Any Advice For Young People (Men or Women) That Want To Succeed In The Music World?
Keep doing what you love to do, but don't forget to keep learning, your never to old or too smart to learn more things about life and the world. Be realistic and finish getting your education and as much training for survival in the world as you can. The more hats you wear the more money you make, the more skills are developed, always helps in being a well rounded great artist, and dependable responsible human being that knows how to hustle if they have too. This business has high's and lows and we have to always have other things burning and cooking on the stove:)
What Would You Change In The Music Industry If You Were A Top Music Executive?
I would change the stereotypes they put on artists, especially for women when it comes to body shapes, appearance, age and bring some of the real damn singers back!

It's important to be you and yourself it's who you are, your stamp print!
