How Did You Get Your Name? Is There A Story?

My real name is gary george davies but since my fathers passing some tweny odd years ago i took his name which is George...i was given the name ggdavies by a close friend of mine Terry Doyle wen we used to play together...and it just stuck

Nothing at the moment hope to get back in the studio by 2019...have a lot of collaboration with lots of local artists in FNQ

What Is Your Ultimate Goal In The Music Industry? What Is Your Plan Of Action?

Just to keep perservering to get my music heard...i am independent artist so it is hard for me to get my music heard...i am open to any festivals...and want to get back into the studio to do another album...i like to use classic Blues and mix it up with some open to collaboration

Do not go was taken from Dylan Thomas poem and it has deep feelings for me just the darkness of the song and the depth and ongoing feelings it brings listening to it...knowing the amount of work was put into production

I usually find a verse and then build on it from my latest song is averse from Rumi the ancient poet...beyond ideas of right and wrong...there is a field and i will meet u there...also another song deeply important to me was one i wrote for my wife who is currently in Philippines and i am trying to get her here is by the grace of God...these songs i write have deep meaning to me and are my solace

What Would You Change In The Music Industry If You Were A Top Music Executive?

I would try and get more genuine people interested in the music industry...doesnt matter how much money u got the music comes from the heart it is a natural born gift u cant teach it u cant buy it...too many are just worried about the dollar sign...this is why i consider myself to be a black sheep...i cant stand people who blow there own trumpet...look at me...look at me syndrome...just get down and do ur music ...this is wat i admire someone whose genuine about their music and the source...

How Do You Feel About Originality?

I found it hard to write originals in the writing skills are limited this is why i chose the blues...easy lyrics...i try and get a strong word and work around it...but now i can do a show with just originals so it sits much more easier with me now...i like to mix it up with both classic Blues and originals
